The inaugural meeting of the Virginia Pain Society (VPS) will be held at the Boar's Head Inn in the beautiful mountains of Charlottesville, Virginia, from March 8th to March 10th. This Exploratory Convention will bring together clinicians, scientists and industry partners from all over the state of Virginia. Together, we will work to relieve the pain facing Virginians. This year's convention will include both scientific and educational sessions, presented in lectures and panel discussions. Topics and lectures include: Opioid and Addiction Awareness, New Horizons for Palliative Care, Interventional Pain Medicine and Community Solutions for Opioid Addiction and Abuse. During these talks, pain experts throughout the state will provide insight into new treatment options to help aid in the improvement of the health of our patients.

The treatment challenges we face can not be solved alone; as such, through collaboration across multiple disciplines, we can bring together the tools and expertise needed to solve these problems. This meeting will serve to join together professionals across many disciplines to bring new solutions to the issue of pain facing Virginians.

The 2019 meeting of the VPS will be held at the Boar's Head Inn in Charlottesville, VA March 8th - 10th.
